Kidzania Kuala Lumpur Malaysia City for Kids

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera...

I went to Kidzania Kuala Lumpur on the eve of CNY. Of course with my son and husband. Kidzania doesn't allow adult to enter without a child. So, kalau sesiapa yang belum ada anak or belum kahwin, but teringin nak tengok attraction di Kidzania, haruslah pinjam adik, sepupu or anak sedara anda ye. Tak rugi pun belanja mereka sekali sekala kan...

FYI, Kidzania is located nearby Ikea and the Curve Mutiara Damansara, to be exact at Curve NX. For those come from outside Klang Valley, you may consider to stay overnight at the hotels nearby Kidzania: The Royale Bintang Damansara or One World Hotel.The former memang dekat betul dengan Kidzania, the latter dekat Bandar Utama (next to One Utama, menarik juga kan?). Ye la dari stay jauh, better stay area sini if you aim to visit Kidzania and other shopping mall nearby. Kat sini ada Ikea, the Curve, Tesco, E-Curve, Ikano Power Center. Banyak wo...memang takkan habis jalan punye...yang habis duitmu saje...:-)

Work as pam attendant @ BHP

Kidzania is a city for kids. Every facilities and role play establishment here are specifically designed for kids. Since my son is 4 years +, there are many establishments that he managed to participate. Still there are several restrictions place in certain establishment, e.g. applying driving license (min 130 cm height), working at industry / manufacturing (e.g. oreo factory, chocolate factory), studio and court (most with min of 6-8 year-old). Tak pasal2 meleleh airmata tak dapat drive kereta honda dan tengok proses buat ice-cream dan oreo. Ice -cream factory tak boleh masuk if ada milk allergy and ashtma. Poor my boy... :-)

@ Ayam Brand Cooking School

Nevertheless, he enjoyed himself to learn to cook at ayam brand cooking school (masak Tuna happy face), sushi king (buat sushi le..apa lagi). Work as pam attendant at BHP Petrol, painter at Nippon Paint, Firefighter at Fire Station, Policeman at Police Department, Postman at Poslaju, Mechanic, Shopper at Z-Mart.

Hottest job @ KIdzania: Firefighter

They are many other role play available here, more than 99 jobs to participate. Interesting, right. Not only the kids, even the parents are happy to watch their children participate in the role play. Basically parent tak involve pun. Just tunggu kat luar set/establishment. So, takde lah letih sangat. Cuma letih tunggu je. We stayed there from 10-3 pm. Memang fully utilised the morning session (weekends). Makan minum semua kat dalam je. Walaupun makanannya tidaklah excellent, ok juga lah untuk lapik perut. Harganya agak mahal. Contohnya, nasi lemak comel dan 1 cawan kopi RM5. For me, agak mahal la. Lain orang, lain pandangan...

Get ready to become Kidzania Firefighter

Tapi, I really love the environment. Kalau boleh nak bawa anak selalu ke sini. They can learn about the job that they are interested in, value of money and the challenges of being an adult as income-earners. It's not that easy to earn money :-) They are having fun too.

@ Postlaju

Each establishment run for about 15-20 mins. So, let say that particular establishment is occupied, the kids have to wait for next round. Most establishment dibuat dalam group. So, kalau dapat pergi dengan siblings, sepupu-sepapat or kawan-kawan, memang lagi best la sebab dah memang boleh get along. Kalau sorang ni, ok juga. So far tengok my son has no problem dealing with others. Ada je parents lain yang datang with 1 kids. Tapi, ada kemungkinan certain activities dia buat sorang je, kalau takde orang lain yang join. So, kurang happening la kan...

Cute Policemen!

Ramai yang suggest datang Kidzania during weekdays sebab kurang orang dan masa diberi yang lebih lama (10-5pm). Mungkin masa ni tak perlu beratur menunggu, so dapat main lebih banyak role-play. Tapi, kacau waktu sekolah la pula kan? hmmm....tak pe la...as parents, you decide la when is the best time to visit Kidzania ye?

We will definitely come back for more fun time. I'm sure my son nak jadi firefighter lagi. Bekerja di construction site, TM dan TNB pun belum lagi. So, jom kita beramai-ramai ke Kidzania. Inginkan maklumat lanjut? Terus ke laman web Kidzania ye. I'm just sharing my experience there.
