Family Holiday 2012 Review

Assalamualaikum & Salam Sejahtera...

Tajuk pun dah best kan? Holiday...yes, I really love holiday...jalan-jalan... Alhamdulillah, I managed to bring my family for several affordable holiday last year. Berkat usaha ibu menabung, mencari rezeki...merasa juga bawa keluarga berehat seketika.

Ibu also need a break. Kalau duduk kat rumah je, memang tak boleh rehat punya. Pasti ada je kerja yang nak dibuat. Kemas sana, basuh sini, lipat sana...ke hulu..ke hilir...well, I think you know the life of a mummy yang takde helper. on call 24 hours...

Just to share several interesting places to visit based on our holiday trips last year.

Jan: 

Spent our weekend at Bandaraya Melaka @ Equatorial Hotel Malacca. Stuck in jammed. Ended spending our time in room. Nasib baik ambil club room. Boleh rehat2 menikmati cocktails dan permandangan malam dari 2 view berbeza; old town and new town.

Mac:

School holiday at Philea Resort Malacca. Saje jalan dekat-dekat sebab ayah nak jimatkan cuti. Maklumlah, masih awal tahun. My son fall in love with the pool. Environment resort pun ok. Cuma nothing much to explore. Kalau datang just to relaxs ok. We visited the Malacca Reptiles Park during the daytime. Dah bawa anak kecil, apa lagi...nak tengok animals aje la...

 May:

Lawatan ke utara. Start from Penang, sebab anak nak naik train Bukit Bendera dan ibu sendiri nak makan Mee Sotong Padang Kota. Kalau last year, we stayed at Parkroyal Penang; this year cuba Holiday Inn Batu Ferringhi pula. Bersebelahan je hotel ni. Holiday Inn is cheaper than Parkroyal, but I prefer Parkroyal. Breakfast lagi sedap ;-) Takpe next time, stay at Hardrock pulak. hehe...

From Penang, we off to Perlis to meet our families. 

Bila dah tak tau nak buat apa kat Perlis, lari ke Langkawi le sekejap. This time tak overnight. Mummy tak cukup bajet :-( Jalan2, makan2 and shopping aje. Cukup la...

June:

Headed south. JB and Spore. Spend a night at Puteri Pacific Johor Bahru, before a night at Marina Mandarin Singapore. Puteri Pacific needs to be refurbished. Kebnayakan perabot look old. Even TV pun masih guna TV tebal. Even worst, masa kami di sana, City Square was under renovation. Huhu...Next time, nak stay at Thistle or Mutiara Johor Bahru pula. As for Marina Mandarin Singapore, overall ok, coz it connected to shopping mall. Senang nak shopping and cari makan. But I prefer Pan Pacific Singapore. We all tak berani nak makan di hotel because not sure about the halal status of the food. So, makan di shopping mall aje. Arah kiblat perlu cari sendiri, sebab hotel tak sediakan :-(

Aug-Sept:

2 week holiday jelajah UK. New experience for the three of us. Kena bajet betul2 nak pergi holiday jauh2 ni, especially bila matawangnya Pound Sterling :-) Sempat melawat Amsterdam, Edinburgh, Perth, Dundee, St Andrews, Sterling. And then down to Lake District, Manchester, Birmingham, and lastly London. Nak ke Paris, seperti biasa..ibu tak cukup bajet la dear...next time ye. Tunggu ibu kumpul duit lain pula...hehe...

Nov:

Kali ni nak bawa atuk n nenek skali. Jalan dekat-dekat aje, coz atuk tak boleh duduk dalam kereta lama-lama. Insya-allah, kalau ibu ada rezeki lebih, kita bawa atuk naik aeroplane ye? We spend a night at Felda Residence HotSpring Sungkai. Not bad the bungalow. Ada private jacuzzi. Tak perlu beramai2 di public pool. Anytime boleh berendam. Kalau beli ramai-ramai lagi best ni.

Dec:

Cuti sekolah yang panjang. Tapi, cuti ayah pula dah nak abis...jalan within Kalang Valley aje la...Banyak juga attractions yang ada. Among the favourites are National Science Centre and Sunway Lagoon. 

Now, dah Januari 2013. Let's plan for holiday for this year. Barulah ada semangat nak bekerja. Tak gitu...?
